ISSGF Traveling Fellowship

The ISSGF Traveling Fellowship sponsors spine surgeons to visit ISSG spinal deformity centers. Applicants choose the ISSG centers of interests based on a dedicated list of available centers and their skill based proposals (surgical technique or approaches, research infrastructure, leadership and industry, and many others). Applicants choose up to 4 centers to visit over 4 consecutive or individual weeks based on applicant and center availability. Trips must conclude prior to the ISSGF Annual Meeting. Travelling fellows are required to present their experience in a 20 minutes podium at the Annual Meeting. Free ISSGF Meeting registration is included in the fellowship.

Who is Eligible:

• ISSGF Centers fellows and surgeons who are 45 and younger at the time of application

• Applications are open to US and OUS fellows and surgeons

• CV

• Letter of Recommendation

Applications will be reviewed by the ISSGF Executive Committee and applicants will be informed by ISSGF Fall Meeting (November of each year).
